Center for the Arts – Vernon Grant’s Winter Wonderland

Grant’s favorite subjects, Santa Claus with his whimsical gnomes and published scenes of winter, will be on exhibit in the Dalton and Perimeter Galleries.. Come explore his humorous art, and share some laughter with friends and family as you peer into his depictions of this holiday season.
Grant is known for his imaginative and colorful works of art. Armed with a paintbrush in hand and an idea in mind, Grant quickly brought playful thoughts to life as illustrations for all to enjoy. His gift of storytelling through art captured the attention of advertisers, companies and publishers. Grant’s illustrations appeared in print on the covers of national magazines, advertising products, greeting cards and children’s books from the 1920s through the 1970s.
