Get up, get outdoors and get your child movin’ this summer with Nature Navigators! Our weekly half-day summer adventures are designed to get children outdoors, learning about nature, and finding new ways to stay healthy. “Nature Navigators” (ages 5 – 9) participate in games, nature activities, hiking, crafts and adventures at a different park each week.
Time: 9 AM to 1 PM – Participants MUST BRING A LUNCH AND DRINKING WATER.
Cost: $5 per child/session
Locations: Change each week; drop off is at the park listed below:
July 15 – What’s Buggin’ You? – Glencairn Garden – 725 Crest Street
July 22 – Creepy Crawlies – Fewell Park – 1204 Alexander Road
July 29 – Water Day – River Park – 1782 Quality Circle
Aug 5 – Reptilian Adventures – Glencairn Garden – 725 Crest Street
Aug 12 – Marvelous Mammals – Piedmont Medical Center Trail – at Riverwalk
