October Daisies tells an incredible story of five strangers brought together by a mutual friend’s funeral. The women initially appear to have nothing in common except that of a mutual friendship with the deceased. After sharing stories, trying to unravel the mystery of why their late friend has brought them all together, and lending support as each face tough times, the women soon learn that they have much in common and become fast friends. The play is a very funny yet poignant story and a tribute to breast cancer survivors.
