Meet today’s local Carolina potters, and view their exclusive collections of work at the Museum of York County’s inaugural event, “Pottery & Panache.” In addition to meeting nine of the region’s finest potters, the museum’s corridors will be donned with chic vignettes of inspiring ways to use pottery in the home. Guests will enjoy live music, heavy hors d’oeuvres – spotlighting “Certified SC Foods,” museum store specials and door prizes. Locally handcrafted goods will be available for bidding during a silent auction hosted by the Museum Guild. The Museum Store will be filled with unique local goods and pottery for purchase.
“Pottery & Panache” has invited the following distinguished potters to display and discuss their work: Bob Hasselle, Katherine Petke, Hope Fregerio, John & Jan Myers, Christine White, Jonathan Williams, Pam Bailey, Patricia Gambino, and Tom Tack.
