Old Town Amphitheater – Dedication of African-American Business District Exhibit
144 East Black Street, Rock Hill, SC
Public ceremony to dedicate and honor the African-American Business District – that was generally located in the area between West Black Street, West Main, and Trade Streets and consisted of businesses that served the African-American community of Rock Hill from the City’s inception to the mid 1970s. The exhibit – when finished – will be located at the corner of Dave Lyle Boulevard and Black Street. It will tell the story of the district and the people who gave it life.
