Rock Hill Parks, Recreation and Tourism will hold a Grand Opening for the Novant Health BMX Supercross Track on Saturday, August 23. The program will include a ribbon cutting, demonstrations, and facility tours. Following the Grand Opening, the Track’s first official BMX race will be held. Mariana Pajon, 2012 Olympic Gold Medalist from Colombia, South America, will attend the event as will other Olympic, world and national BMX athletes.
The Novant Health BMX Supercross Track is located at 1307 Riverwalk Parkway off of Hwy. 21/Cherry Road. Any cancellation due to extreme weather will be posted to www.novanthealthbmx.com and 803-329-5620.
