This family-friendly talk is for telescope users who have little knowledge of the night sky. John A. Read, author of “50 Things to See with a Small Telescope” and “50 Things to See with a Small Telescope – Kids” will highlight the must-see objects visible in Carolina Skies.
Copies of “50 Things to See with a Small Telescope” are included with admission ticket. Several of his other books will also be available for purchase and signing. A dessert reception follows the discussion.
CHM Members and Carolina Skygazers: $20 per family (up to two adults and two children) includes one copy of “50 Things to See with a Small Telescope;” additional guests $5 per person for program only.
Non-Members: $30 per family (up to two adults and two children) includes one copy of “50 Things to See with a Small Telescope;” additional guests $5 per person for program only.
