Take a Child Outside is an initiative of the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences with partners, internationally. The goal is to help children develop a better understanding and appreciation of the environment and an enthusiasm for exploring the natural world by encouraging children and adults to spend time together outdoors.
Join Rock Hill Parks, Recreation and Tourism staff and volunteers for a family mountain bike ride! Bring your bike and helmet, and meet at the Novant Health BMX Supercross Track. We’ll give you some pointers on trail riding before we ride the easy mountain bike trails at Riverwalk. Helmets are required. A limited number of loaner bikes are available by calling or emailing Hope Matthews (803-817-5122; hope.matthews@cityofrockhill.com).
